Cold Caller &Appointment Setter
Book qualified meetings with business owners who could benefit from AI infrastructure.
Capalist builds custom AI infrastructure for businesses. You'll make the calls and qualify prospects; our sales team handles closing.
Apply for this role →A clear path to higher pay
All amounts in USDYour raise begins immediately from your fifth qualifying booking or client. Further pay increases may be available as you grow in the role. If review is delayed, hours worked after that time are recalculated at $6.
On top of your $6/hour base.
For each new client credited to your outreach. Their signed agreement and first cleared payment must both be complete at or after your raise begins.
90-day lead credit. Eligible leads stay attributed to your work for 90 days from their qualified booking or accepted referral.
Five different businesses earn your raise
Count approved qualified bookings, whether upcoming or attended. A new client you bring to Capalist can also count once they fit the target profile, sign, and their first payment clears.
Example: three upcoming meetings + two attended meetings, all with different businesses.
Four qualified bookings + one different new client can also earn the raise. You can bring in a client through calls or referrals; our team still handles the close.
Credits accumulate across weeks. There is no separate minimum number of attended meetings; every booking must meet the qualification checklist below.
One business counts once. Rescheduling, attendance, and a later sale don't create extra credits for the same business.
Your day-to-day work
- Call prospective businesses and explain the service clearly.
- Ask about a business problem that AI infrastructure could help address.
- Book meetings, send confirmations, and follow up.
- Keep accurate contact details and notes in the customer relationship management system (CRM).
What makes a meeting qualify?
Each booking must meet all four conditions. The target profile is supplied before calling:
- Right business. It fits the target profile supplied before outreach.
- Right person. A decision maker or an authorized evaluator is involved.
- Real need. They describe a relevant business problem.
- Clear agreement. They agree to a specific meeting time, and you record accurate details.
You'll be a good fit if…
You speak clear, conversational English, listen well, stay professional through rejection, and keep useful notes. Calling, appointment setting, or customer service experience is helpful.
Capalist provides calling tools and paid training. You'll need access to a computer, reliable internet, a headset, and a quiet calling space; tell us if you need to discuss equipment.
Remote work, agreed hours
Work remotely. Weekly hours vary between 20 and 40 depending on business needs; 40 hours are not guaranteed.
Your weekly schedule is agreed with your manager. Calls follow the prospect market's business hours, so your shift may include evenings or overnight hours in your local time zone. Your exact shift and work arrangement are confirmed before you accept.
Pay details and common situations
When will I be paid?
Pay is weekly. Wednesday is the intended payday, subject to final confirmation in your written offer. Eligible $30 bonuses are included on the next scheduled payday. The payment method, payroll cutoff and transfer-fee arrangements are confirmed before you accept. Required training is paid.
When does the $6 rate start?
Your rate changes from the recorded time of your fifth qualifying booking or client, not the next pay cycle. If approval happens later, payroll applies the new rate back to that time. Your manager reviews credit within one business day and gives a written reason for any rejection. A delayed approval preserves the original qualifying time.
Can my fifth business also earn a bonus?
Yes. If a directly sourced new client is your fifth qualifying business, the $6 rate begins when their signed agreement and first cleared payment are both complete. That client can also earn the $30 bonus at the same time. A business earns only one raise credit and one new-client bonus.
What if someone doesn't attend or doesn't buy?
A genuine no-show or a decision not to buy doesn't automatically remove approved credit. Duplicate businesses, inaccurate qualification, or meetings booked without consent don't qualify.
Which clients earn the $30 bonus?
A new client must be credited to your outreach, have a signed agreement, and have a first payment that clears. The bonus is earned when both closing requirements are complete at or after your raise starts. If they sign before the raise but pay after it, they can still qualify. Repeat invoices don't create new-client bonuses.
Eligible clients remain attributed to your work for 90 days after the qualified booking or accepted referral. Earned bonuses are paid on the next scheduled weekly payday. Wednesday is the intended payday, subject to final confirmation in your written offer.

Use one pay period. These inputs illustrate the math; they don't promise hours or sales.
Use 0–1,000 hours or clients; hours use ¼-hour steps and client counts use whole numbers.
$80.00 hourly pay + $0.00 bonuses
Examples are before any applicable deductions or transfer fees. If the raise happens mid-period, enter hours at each rate separately. A bonus can be payable even when this period has no post-raise hours.
